When considering a paint system for your stucco, brick, block, concrete or wood structure, a good choice may be a 100% acrylic, waterproof elastomeric coating. Although regular paints are acceptable and often times less expensive, they cannot provide the same level of protection as an elastomeric coating. Elastomeric coatings are thicker and much more flexible than regular paint which gives them a well deserved reputation of long-lasting durability and protection. They can withstand wind driven rain which in turn protects your building interior from moisture. Because the coating is breathable, it beneficially allows interior moisture vapors to pass through the coating.

 

We recommend two coats of a premium grade low sheen latex top coat over elastomeric layers for a longer life for your project.
